Berry Bros. & Rudd is an historic London wine merchant with a loyal but ageing customer base. How to appeal to a younger market and engage them in the Berrys way of buying wine? Answer: a customer magazine, wittily entitled Clarity, which gave readers valuable insights into the wine world, as well as promoting the latest offers from Berrys’ sales team.

Balance produced several editions of Clarity and went on to provide further marketing copy and design for Berrys, including Christmas brochures and menus for the in-house restaurant.
